Mark Gliebe speaks on the issue of Pride. He takes a look at many different places where pride is found in Scripture. There are both negative and positive forms of pride. His first example of pride is seen in Satan and his goal of corrupting found in Isaiah 14:12-13, Revelation 1:20, Luke 10:18, Ezekiel 28:17, and 1 Timothy 3:6. His second example is Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:1-6 and 1 John 2:16. He also looks at the pride of King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20:12-19. He also uses Proverbs 1:7, 3:34, 16:18-19, and Mark 7:20-23. He concludes with a good form of pride in Isaiah 60:15 and Jeremiah 9:23-24.
