Dustin Rose finishes the series on “Who Are We?” This is the conclusion that deals with the original 10 principles that the Plymouth Brethren met around. These are found in the book “My People” by Robert Baylis. Below is the outline for notes.

Tom West shares with us on using a spiritual adjustment out of Hebrews 1-4. He explains how we take extraordinary things and make them ordinary while God takes ordinary things and makes them extraordinary. His main application is to listen to Him, see Him, consider Him, and trust Him.

Mark Gliebe continues our series on the life of Elijah. His main text is 1 Kings 18. In this text, God proves that He is real in the midst of the pagan worship that surrounded Elijah. This became a challenge to the men of Israel to stay true to God.

Mark Gliebe continues our series on the life of Elijah. Here Mark uses the illustration of the dried up brook, the empty flour barrel and the dead son of the widow as our life without God. He finishes with how Jesus fixes this in John 4:13-14, 6:32-33 and 14:6. The main text is 1 Kings 17:5-24.

Mark Gliebe begins a new series on the life of Elijah. This is an introduction to the time and the place that Elijah lived in. Mark describes the rule of Jeroboam, Nadab, Baasha, Elah, Zimri and Omri. This leads to Ahab, the king during Elijah’s ministry. The main text is 1 Kings 12, 15, 16 & 17 and Deuteronomy 28:15-24.

Dustin Rose continues his series on “Living In Christ: Part 19.” This series takes us through the book of Ephesians. Today’s main text is Ephesians 5:22-6:9. This message focuses on the issue of submitting to one another. He specifically covers the marriage relationship, the parent/child relationship and the employee/employer relationship.

Mark Gliebe speaks on the topic of tithing from the Old Testament and what the New Testament says about giving. He begins with how Abram and Jacob approached tithing. Then he discusses the 3 tithes mentioned in the Old Testament; governmental tax in Deuteronomy 14:22-23, religious tithe in Deuteronomy 12:11-18 and a tithe for the poor found in Deuteronomy 14:28-29. He then covers the “freewill offerings” of the Law in Exodus 35:21-24. Finally, Mark gets to giving under Grace in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2.

Dustin Rose continues his series on “Living In Christ: Part 18.” This series takes us through the book of Ephesians. Today’s main text is Ephesians 5:11-21. Here he finishes the topic of faithfulness in a world or unfaithfulness. Then he covers the 2 ways Paul describes our Christian walk; intelligently and filled. He also starts the next section of Ephesians with an intro to submitting to one another.

Dustin Rose continues his series on “Living In Christ: Part 17.” This series takes us through the book of Ephesians. Today’s main text is Ephesians 5:1-10. Here he talks about mimicking God and being pure in sexual relations. He also stresses what our motivation in pleasing the Lord should be.

Here he points out 4 areas that we can set aside the old man and put on the new man. They are in the areas of lying, anger, stealing and language.

Here he lays out the process of changing our thoughts away from the world’s thoughts and towards the Lord’s thoughts. He begins to teach on the setting aside of the old man and putting on the new man.

Here he discusses the growth of a believer into a mature follower of Christ. We are to practice living the truth in love and allow God to grow us into brings us into a functioning family body.

Here he covers the four Spiritual Gifts that are mentioned in this text and those mentioned in other New Testament passages. This is really how the Body of Christ functions.

The main focus of this text is the purpose and unity of the Church and its members.
